Another strange week that tells us the time bomb is clearly ticking faster. The Bank of England has shown it is narrative, rather than economics, driven, by putting up rates up by 50 basis points. It wont cure inflation but it will kill the economy further, what’s left of middle class consumption and stop those pesky plebs asking for more. A repeat of the Thatcher ploy that saw the ex-council house grab, some but not all of the financial system will be pleased because they are being culled too.
So are we to a degree because the elites want to grab as much as they can ahead of the reset. They want to set their status in stone as the climate and solar cycles combine to make the world a tough place for food, water work and life chances. Just as gun beat spear, woke will bow to engineer. Yep, red tribe or blue tribe, politics went corporate and has thrown innovation and free market capitalism under the bus.

Clearly the derivatives and commercial real estate markets are now too tricky for the Banksters so they need to plunder the assets of the middle classes namely our homes and our pension providers. The Bank of England are actively looking to support both the pensions and the insurance markets in the UK after both have meddled in LDIs. LDI strategies enable DB pension funds to use leverage (i.e., to borrow) to increase their exposure to long-term gilts, while also holding riskier and higher-yielding assets such as equities in order to boost their returns.
The B of E are merely mending what they broke and struggling to continue to pin it on a wild month from Truss. The reason I say narrative driven is because they are refusing to tackle the inflationary creation of £1.35tn to allegedly get us through covid, but largely to support High Net Worths and financial institutions. They have used that to buy assets which they expect a high return on while we work to pay for it. Begs the question who is paying for the forward and reverse strategy from the worlds new policeman in Russia over this weekend.

The era of the illusion of choice is upon us, ushered in bread and circus style by Problem Reaction Solution. We know that no one is looking after us, be it the red tribe or the blue tribe in the UK, US et al. We know we have to rely on our communities and neighbours. We know that Central Bank Digital Currency and universal basic income is coming in to keep us fed and watered in return for a reset in our level of ambitions and freedoms. But the international government lobbying tax dodging tech cartel have the answer – are we not entertained?

Now is the time to work together, to maintain our calorie and nutrient levels by growing healthy food outside of the rubbish the 11 strong supply chain cartel are forcing down our throats. They are price gouging and charging more for less – but we are the problem according to Colonel Cretin at the Bank of England. A 15-year-old student running through inflation for the first time at GCSE would give a better economic solution rather than his political one.

I was reminded that I had a soul this week and that we as individuals, teams and communities make a difference. The two great things about being human are the ability to feel and to have emotions. That tingle, tear in the eye, seeing smiles and hearing laughter with my good eye.
Not for profit LOL (Ashley did all of the work) had been out and about in schools, inviting science enquiry into our younger ones minds this week. The kids love it, but ,when a teacher says ‘what your doing is vital’ it touches the spot and makes you feel what life, ‘it’, is all worth it. Thanks to the Wolds generous 5k donation we are able to deliver 10 more events to cash strapped schools.
I don’t want to go into the top heavy MAT system in this country but that fact is being in our environment gives us a better understanding of it and moves minds forward. That’s a good thing if anyone wants to help us to do more of this in schools. As a not-for-profit we believe in one step and one day at a time £400 gets a day, £2000 a week etc etc.
Our council’s would love to help us but they can’t fund Education. As for all this NHS money flying around, healthy bodies and healthy minds don’t tick the mental health box – we know we had a £25k bid turned down – and that was to fund our feeding of food banks. So Ashley, Harry, Steve, Elaine and I soldier on until we get the funding to take our #SowStudySustain ideas national.
But I am not asking you for money here (wouldn’t turn any down LOL), this is rather to inspire you to get together and do things as a community, starting with food before it is too late. Please help yourself to any of the following ideas or even email or call Ashley and I at Ecolearn – the not for profit CIC behind #SowStudySustain . We believe it is all about people sharing best practice and digging green mines not Gold mines in the weeks, months and years ahead.
