The Lincolnshire Circular Economy

Due to its rural nature Lincolnshire is perhaps in more need of, and more open to, Circular economy principles, than the rest of the UK. A circular economy is a framework that tackles global challenges like climate change, biodiversity loss, waste, and pollution by ending take make break and waste.

Lincolnshire certainly has the space to both re-wild and grow food and therefore shoulder the twin burdens of the UK’s lack of biodiversity and food security. However rises in sea levels affect Lincolnshire and East Lindsey and Boston in particular, somewhat concerning given the food they produce for Britain.

So although we have time on our side we cannot be complacent given Westminster puts more money towards areas of the country with expensive housing rather than helping the hand that feeds us.

Only a circular economy approach will give us the tools to tackle climate change and biodiversity loss together, while addressing important social needs. Our Sow Study Sustain community wealth building system will give us the power to grow prosperity, jobs, and resilience while cutting greenhouse gas emissions, waste, and pollution.

Sow Study Sustain is a revolutionary form of circular economy that sees the meeting of three basic principles, circular growing, community wealth building and sustainable green energy.
